Internationally acclaimed Soulful Jazz vocal stylist Sharon Marie Cline, also known as The Divine Ms. Cline because of the dreamy romantic quality of her voice, has become one of Southern California’s most sought after live performers. Dubbing her live concerts “Love Fests”, she sings some of the music world’s favorite jazz and soul contemporary and classic songs at festivals, jazz clubs and special events worldwide.
Cline’s unique song styling and sweet intonations combined with her sultriness leaves music aficionados with an experience they will never forget. Influenced by many music giants, including Sarah Vaughan, Frank Sinatra, Nancy Wilson, Ella Fitzgerald, Diana Krall, Rachelle Ferrell, and Phyllis Hyman, Sharon Marie offers her own fresh, contemporary touch to jazz, soul and Broadway standards.
Classically trained and gifted with a five octave vocal range, Cline also possesses a musical theater and regional theater background. Her rich tone, purity of voice, and perfect control allow her to convey a deep range of emotion that totally captivates her audiences.
The Divine Ms. Cline is known for playing around with melodies, holding long, pure notes, and exquisite phrasing. Her latest top charting singles “Love Will Follow” and “Summer Love”, her previous single “Close To You” and her internationally acclaimed album “This Is Where I Wanna Be” have all enjoyed extensive national and international airplay, paying tribute to not only the American Songbook and Broadway but includes a few magical original pieces as well.
Cline has shared the stage with distinguished music giants that include Jazz legend Tony Bennett at the Savannah Jazz Festival, Jazz Trumpeter Chris Botti at Forsythe Park, legendary Jazz Vocalist and song stylist Nancy Wilson at the Jacksonville Jazz Festival., as well as acclaimed saxophonist Ronnie Laws and Eloise Laws.
Sharon Marie Cline has caught the eyes of some of the nations’ well- known promoters and looks forward to taking the world by storm with her vocal styling, which she refers to as “Soulful Jazz”.
